Where to buy TPMS sensors for the X?
You can definitely move OEM TPMS to after-market wheels. I got a set of Work wheels and all seasons and the stock TPMS was moved to them and calibrated by a alignment shop with no message generated (I was sort of suprised it worked really). However, I undertand using a second set of TPMS will require recalibration each times the wheels are swpped (seasonally presumably).
Why are you bumping a 3 year old thread? All of this stuff has been worked out now.
TPMS can be turned off in the ECU, and aftermarket sensors can be bought for cheap and programmed to clone your existing ones now.
Just search "TPMS"

I am looking for info on cheap sensors programmed to clone existing ones. TPMS search didn't provide that info...
