"Because of the 'serial' code of the actual headlamp assembly being different than the car (and i wish i knew what this meant)
we can not fix or repair the ballast under warranty"

did you change anything with the lights?

 

THEY changed the headlamps 2 weeks after i bought the car (they became humid) and now they won't change the ballast over a technicality they made!
other than that no i have not touched anything w/ the lights

 

Do you have the paper work from when they changed them? I would still fight them. Maybe bring it to a different dealer?
