Who is ordering a 2010 X?

So with the news of the 09 not making it to the U.S. who is going to wait it out for the 2010? Anyone ordered a brand new car before? Deposit required?

I think my two biggest feature requests at this point would be a better factory tune(possibly more power), and a sunroof would be awesome but not sure about this with an aluminum roof....

Why order? There may be some initial demand, but you'll have to pay more. Demand for the 2010 likely won't be as strong as initial demand for the 2008, and there are plenty of those leftover. Time is on your side. Wait for the discounts at the end of the year!

I would rather enjoy the 08s at the price you can get them, as opposed to not having the X for an another year, getting black taillights and the unlikey chance of sunroof. Tuning is easy, get an 08!

X's with under 5k miles are already going for 25/26k, why pay more? Or just pick up a '10 X a few months after it is released for a few thousand under sticker (used)? It is by far the better financial decision.

1 - why would you wait that long for an X? they are available now for a decent price.

2 - you have no idea what the 2010 models will include, if anything different.

So how can you possibly make a decision now on a 2010??? let's say you wait a year and half, nothing is really different. you could of bought one now, enjoyed it for a year and a half, instead of wasting all that time waiting for nothing.

Sunroof = more weight + less rigidity in the chassis...

But its all personal preference...

Yeah leave the sunroof to tC owners

I will, not pre-order lol. But I'm definitively waiting for them to come out (probably 6 more months). Then I'll see whats up. I've waited so long, why not wait a bit more? patience pays friends, patience pays. (while sometimes it doesnt haha)

Yeah, the used ones are cheaper... BUT if you get a loan on a used car and even get 5%, plus paying tax on the car, in the end you aren't saving a huge amount and you have no idea how the car was driven.

Why am I waiting? I already tried to get an X a month ago and was denied due to lack of credit history(which is crap I have a 14k auto loan that paid off and numerous credit cards on my credit report)....so Im saving for a downpayment so I can actually qualify...
