Inconsistant torque on the X

Im wondering are other X GSR owner's experiencing inconsistant accerleration? Sometimes when I get on it it takes off quick and other times i'll give it quite a bit of gas and it seems to not want to go like it did before. I beleive my car came with a custom tune when I bought it but, I also have the Cobb AP and have ran the stage one to see a difference, and it seems the Cobb has a better top end but the so called stock tune my car came with has way more pull down low. But the pull on either tune is very inconcsistant. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

It's really hard to say what could be the problem without any data. You might want to make some logs with your AP and show us what they look like when it's running good and bad. It'll make it alot easier for people to diagnose you problem.

I can do logs when Im running the cobb stage 1, but not on my stock tune. Could it be my turbo? Cause when I first got the car I had alot of compressor surge.

Logs with your Stage 1 should be fine as long as you have logs of your good and bad runs.

The AP comes with a new hose for the boost controller assembly right? That should not be compatible with the 'stock' tune. So it's probably overboosting down low with the stock map loaded back in down low.

Did you check the shaft play on your turbo? Could be on the way out....

i dont know how similar the x tunes are to the 8,9s but on the older models anytime they detect knock even phantom knock they will pull timing and cause it feel much slower

The AP doesn't come with any hose.
