Rear Wiper?
I think that the biggest hassle would be drilling the hole in the rear window, so in order to do it right it would have to be something where you could buy the rear window, motor, wiper arm, fluid lines, and wiper stalk from a factory-equipped model. If Mitsu hasn't done it for any model in any market, it isn't likely to be worth it to do it cleanly.
Rigging up a set of nozzles to spray when you spray the front window would be pretty easy, though I don't know how much help it would be.

OT: but I'm from the KoP area (grew up in/around Pottstown).. my folks still live in KoP
anyway, back on-topic:
I suspect that it would be too costly to be worthwhile.. I'd have to agree that the high powered nozzles to just spray seems like your best suggestion..
unless..
just spitballing here:
get a suction cup like they use on car video camera mounts.. mount a wiper to that, instead of drilling through the car, and then just run the wire for power/control
not the most elegant solution, but it could work

The hardest part seems to be that nobody has done this, EVER !!!

I tried googling for it, and the best I could find was the ford fusion guys swapping the crappy stock rear wiper on their ZX3 and ZX5 with the one from the ford edge. But those guys had a wiper to begin with.
I am planning on asking a bodyshop near my place to see if they can gimme some ideas.
Good luck cutting a hole in your rear window, buying a motor, the necessary parts, and wiring it all together.
I could sell you all of the mechanism's, etc. from my RSX but I doubt it would be an easy task.
Damn it! how many times do I have to say this. I don't need to know what your opinion on my choice is. I just need to know what I need to do to have this feature. I have already decided that having a rear wiper is more helpful. So PLEASE! refrain from posts like this.
Opinion =
I did not ask what you always do, and what you felt about not having do it on a X.
Already know this. I was hoping somebody on these forums would have done it and would lend some advice on what exact parts were used and how they were procured. I need more specifics.
Don't expect it to be easy. Thank you for the offer though.
I always delete my rear wipers...glad I didn't have to do it on this car.

I was stating what I did to previous cars. That is not an opinion, it is a fact.

You are right. I was wrong to even think I needed this. How silly of me. Thank you for opening my eyes.
Now, if anyone else has ideas, please feel free to suggest.
