A new car should not have issues starting. Take it back to the dealership for warranty. Don't waste time, before it gets worse, troubleshooting it yourself-especially if it's still stock.

This happened to me to. Well, sounds like its widespread general issue with these cars. You also have to remember that the plugs probably foul because the mixture is so rich. THis is pretty normal in a high performance engine that runs rich. The plugs get carbon build up on them and the car will take a while to start to allow the spark to burn it off. My sportbike used to do the same thing when I jetted it to run more rich to provide more power. I would like to know what the dealer says on this. The plugs and wires are fine if the care runs after it starts. If it were the plugs and wires the care would sputter down the road. IT sounds like a design factor.

^ I could see that in a car that has a good amount of miles on it, but I just passed 2k. There should be no reason for a car with low miles to have any sort of build up on anything. As far as taking it to the dealer goes...they won't fix anything unless the car acts up for them. With this being an intermittent problem it is unlikely I will ever truly know whats going on.

hmmm.

No plugs can foul on one start. It doesnt matter how old the car is. You know i got to thinking. In my Acura TSX the manual said that it could take up to 6-10 cranks to maximize a clean start. By doing this, it releases less emissions into the air by managing firing order and cylinder position. This could be a possibility. Just watch it.

I took the car in yesterday to see if I could get the reflash done. Turns out my car already has, not the 2nd, but the 3rd reflash done on it.

The dude said to take it back if the problem happens consecutively like 3 times a day or something. He said they will have to see the problem for themselves, and I most likely will have to leave the car there overnight.

I wanna get my battery replaced with an Optima one!!!

This happened to me the other day. Grant it, it was like 30 degrees, but it took me 3 tried to start the car. Ive had it for about 2 months now. No issues starting after that though.
