I have an 2010 evo x is there any known issue for 2010's? so far i've just finished breaking in and put about 700 miles on it and no problems hope it stays that way.. (knock on wood) notchy feeling or grinding is also gone since i passed 600miles and rpm at idle seems to be more calmed..

No. I would not expect to see anything coming out for the MY 2010 vehicles for a while. Give it some time, there will be service campaigns I promise you, but it's not a big deal (all cars have them).

TSB-09-13-001 2008 Lancer ECM Reprogramming

I have a 2008 Evo X MR. I just had the AWC reflash.

This could be a stupid question: I had my car tuned ( just tuned the stock ecu). Now according to the TSB reflash, they said they reflashed the ECM to make it LEANER. I'm not too sure, but does the AWC reflash affect the ECU?

(1) Does my tune go away?

(2) If my tune didn't go away, then according to the TSB reflash- they said it leaned out the ECM. My tuner really leaned out my car. Does this extra "LEAN" affect my car? I could be running dangerously Lean?

They would overwrite you tune, not make it even more leaner, so you might have lost your initial tune.

The AWC refllash has nothing to do with leaning out the car. The AWC has its own control module with its own little software to control its operation. It communicates to the main ECU over the CAN Bus.

So doing the AWC change would wipe out the tune as well, right? That sucks. I wonder how necessary this change is. Thanks.

it does NOT wipe out your tune.

Nothing is really changed , except the AWC. They did this for cold winter starts

I had an oil leak from my timing chain cover and apparently there is a TSB out for that. (its on the back side I guess, didn't actually see it, my shop just called me about it)

Maybe want to include that in this thread.

I am not taking it to the dealer as my manifold is off getting ported and coated and new turbo/downpipe is going on. Plus I had cams installed so that might have been the cause...so I just am having my shop do it for me.
