Periodic Inspection at 120miles?

Periodic Inspection at 120miles?

when should the "Periodic Inspection" light comes on? i just past 120miles on my X and i see that light. should i be worry?

Did you pass 3 months time since your last oil change? That might be the cause.

You might be right here.

My "Periodic" reminder came on as well recently at only 800 miles, so I just cleared it.

I'll have to remember to clear it again after I change the oil at 3000 miles. It's easy to do, the instructions are in the owners manual.

^ You can also disable the maintenance reminder system. I did such on mine as I see it as an "idiot" system. I don't remember the steps off-hand, but its pretty straight forward, you can find it on the forums here.
