Has anyone lowered their seat in the X yet?

Good night the seat is too high up. I know there's a kit for the VIII/IX but nothing that I've found for the X yet.

I'm whacking my head on the roof with my helmet on.

Im 6'2 and even I feel short in my evo...I think its because of the high headrests.

At $300 a set, I'll pass and just put it toward some fixed back seats. I was hoping for a less pricey option.

I am the same. Exactly.
My XL helmet is insanely snug and I have a freakishly long torso. I'm 6'1". There is another 6'1" dude I work with that is all legs. We stand up and are similar. I sit next to him, and I'm a full foot taller than he is, LOL.

My wife is 5'4". She gets in, tilts the mirror down and is good to go, doesn't have to touch anything else. That's how short my little legs are.

Apparently the X's bracket design is different than the VIII/IX and the binary brackets won't work.

There are 2 versions of the kansai seat rail...

Low position and best postion

Was wondering what are the differences between the 2.

Any vendors can comment on this?

+1 I'm wondering this too. I was going to pick up a set from Japanparts (just missed their 10% off ) because the seat position is no good for me either. Waaay too high in the front. Being able to lower the entire seat a couple centimeters would really be helpful.
