Evo X Gauge cluster???

Does anyone know if the mileage on the Evo X is stored in the cluster and ECU or just cluster?

A buddy of mine is using an Evo X cluster for a custom mod and was wondering...

Thanks

in the previous models (8,9) it's stored in the cluster only, my guess is that the X is no different... I'm not sure, just a thought (I'm in Glendale BTW, visiting some family, it's a cool place!)

Lived half my life in Glendale, it is indeed a great place. Especially with all the renovations and such.

I think it would only store it in the cluster...

Yes Glendale is pretty nice, what part of Glendale are you in?

It must just be stored in the cluster, because there is a thread in here about it resetting after you turn the car off.Another words it's a short term data,I would expect that if stored in the ECU then it would have a long term avg,and allow the driver to reset if they want.
I use mine sometimes, but don't go by it.I use the old fill up method by how many miles driven to how much fuel was added to determine miles per tank.Got 23.7 miles last tank, mostly highway but city for 1/4 of it.
