Exclamation Where did you bought Lancer switches?

Hi. I'm looking for the 3 switches(ASC, AFS & fog lamp) for mi Lancer ES, where did you buy the asc switch & how much are them?

I live in México but Mitsubishi doesn't sell those here.

Wow, I wanted to do this, but the switch doesn't look as simple as I thought it would be. I even called the dealer when I first got my car and asked about the price on the switch. $36

Good info!

$36 sounds about right. I also purchased my ASC switch from a Mitsu dealer. (I bet Mitsu pays about $2 for the part

The switch really isn't that complicated. As shown in the how-to thread, there are six terminals in the switch's circuit board:

Two of them do nothing.

Two of them are connected to a tiny light bulb in the switch to provide illumination.

Two of them form a complete circuit when you push the button.

It is the latter two that you connect to the garage door opener.

Somebody somewhere posted a concern about how this would work with the voltage from the car battery. That is NOT an issue, as you don't hook any of this up to the car's electrical system! You are just hooking this switch to the garage door opener.

Basically, you are just altering the circuit so that pushing the ASC switch activates the opener, rather than pushing the button on the opener itself.
