Sorry to hear what happened. No one should go through that kind of trouble. If we can be of any help, let us know.

Thanks EM-I will let you know what parts I need. And yes the Recaro idea is smart so there is no lights. By the way, the car is paid off.

yes I had insurance-just not the full coverage. By the way the bad call on my part was not locking up the extra key and not having a home security system. There was much more taken than just the car. So my goal is to get the car back on the road-I can't climb into a time machine and redo everthing (yet)

Right now I know I have to replace the rear strut, end link, and A-arm. The car goes up on the rack on Mon or Tue of next week. As long as the transmission and the rest of the under carrage is fine, I can eat the costs. I am looking at probably $8,000.00+ in parts and labor for everything including seats. Let the fun begin.

Damn! Sorry to hear this man! I had my 8 stolen the end of January of 08, 1 month after my AMS stroker was installed! I know how you feel except I didn't get my car back. My insurance company was good to me though. I would look at putting in a claim man. That is comprehensive and your deductible cant be that much... $1k tops. They will pay to fix things you will not even think of and you will always be covered in case something happens later that might be related.

Good Luck man!

Hate to bring up more bad news but on top of the damages to your car, you just lost about half its value. Most likely you are going to end up with a branded title.

Also see if you can get your money back from brinks/adt. Invest into a home security system that you monitor with dvd backup. If you do stay with the brinks/adt get it hardwired. All it takes is someone to cut the phone line and the monitoring company does not get the signal.
