i missed my evo...

So i went to Hawaii last week and i rented a chevy cobalt... o man... that thing could barely move!! All the time i was driving there, i was thinking "Man i wish i shipped my evo over here" So after a week of that weaksauce car I'm finally home and mann did i missed the kick of the evo.

Oh on a side note i saw a EB evo, i think it was an 05 model. I saw it for a second or two as it exited the interstate. and a non glossy black spray painted lancer dressed up like an evo at a beach.. it had white zebra stripes. Hi

funny. I go through withdrawl symptoms if I go one day without driving my Evo. no car has ever made me feel this way. Very similar to when I can't ride my sportbike for awhile. rather funny if you ask me.

I feel the same way: it's Evo or nothing. My friend who's a valet driver says super cars don't even compare.

When I got in an accident and had a Chevy Aveo for a month...man did it suck.
"Fully loaded Aveo" said the rental agent. Manual door locks and manual windows...worst handling and worst power.

The day I got back in the Evo...I swear my eyes got watery.

i was without my evo for 2 days for body repairs from a fender bender and i had a nissan versa rental car (the base, base, base model). I almost got rear ended with how slow the thing was getting on the highway going to work! I know all about this withdrawl you speak of...

Also, i gave my car to a shop to prototype some parts and had to rent again and got a ford focus (can you tell it's my DD?). That thing handles like crap! Actually as far as I'm concerned, everything handles like crap except for other evos

I went without my EVO for like 5 months for the winter (could afford winter tires at the time) and man did I miss it. When I brought it back out again in April it made me realize how much I liked driving it.

Hehe I guess I'm spoiled. I had my ride shipped from Seattle and back but then again I was on a 4 month vacation.

I am currently going through withdrawls while mine is in the shop. Thank goodness for the talon as backup.

Yup, that's exactly what I did in April, haha! Only bad thing was there was still a crap load of gravel on the roads, and dip**** mayor here didn't sweep it all up until like early this month. My side skirts and rear doors got dinged up pretty bad. Heh went for a car wash today and noticed it all, killed me a little bit inside.
