To tell you the truth, I didn't think it was that good when I test drove it. I even test drove a modded one. With that said, I love mine. They are about 10x better once you are used to them then it is when you test drive it.

As for the deal, I got a decent deal, silver sss w/ navi 1g down and 35 otd. 0%apr.

My test drive was AFTER it was shipped from Cali to Hawaii, when I picked her up from the dock.

I've owned a 350hp wrx, so as soon as I walked into the dealership, and was offered a price I couldnt refuse I did the whole credit thing, and then did the test drive. I knew what i was expecting from the vehicle prior to the purchase, but just wanted to test it out to make sure it had no mechanical issues. So I guess I wen't about 75% of the way through the process before test driving it, and have been happy ever since!

I never test drove the Ralliart and the Evo X. I read enough reviews that i knew what was buying.

I purchsed mine and then drove it 800 miles home. First impression is still the same. Awsome handling but the power is lacking IMO. Then again my DD before this was my DSM(436awhp@27psi)

Test drive one, pretend you don't like it that much. I know 30k OTD is definitely possible, dunno if that is with SSS or not though... I doubt you will be impressed enough that you will "HAVE to buy it right then." They're fun to drive, but it isn't that amazing of an experience.

I've test driven 3 Xs. One MR, one GSR with SSS, one without. Don't buy one without test driving one first at least drive it gently and slowly like you're breaking it in to get a feel of everything but the power.

I don't know how to drive stick. I'll probably just buy the car, or have my sister test drive it.

No, I didn't. $31,999 w/SSS was the lowest you could find anywhere when I was in the market. I bought pre-0%, ...

Sorry for the OT.

And to the OP: if you can drive stick, you should definitely test drive before you buy. GL
