Why didn't Mitsubishi make the headlights autoleveling and have an auto on switch?

All JDM cars with HID are auto levelling ..

Keyless operations option comes with auto headlight on and auto wipers

So yes .. probably cost and choice for the options .. we get to choose what we want and build it up ..

My only complaint is they don't allow me to choose an RS with SST gearbox

Mine are auto, bit of a pain as it needs to be quite dark before they switch on, I use mine manually

my previous car had auto on/off. it was the single most annoying feature in the car - it'd turn on for two seconds under a bridge, and then it turns off. don't they know that short on/off intervals damages HIDs? i turned it off so it's manual. never looked back.

I wonder if I can convert a USDM car to have autoleveling with some JDM parts. I am guessing it requires some type of module.
