Highest mileage Evo X thread
2015 GSR with 91,000km (56,000miles) in a year and a half. I put about 78,000km in the first year.
Everything is stock, I've only changed fluids and filters. Brake pads still have about 50% left. But don't get me started on tires, I've just burned through my third set...

I just did a KBB to see what my 2010 MR Touring is worth at 160525 miles, i bought her brand new.
Trade in $9000
Private party $12000
I think those numbers are generous too!
it comes out to -$.19 of value for every mile driven.
Every 20 miles you drive you loose about $4.00 in value from your car. I average 150-200 most days too. Lol Its costing more than gas!

I'm not surprised, I'm in the same boat with the highway miles. I usually push the evo when there are no other cars around, then i usually just left off and coast back down to cruising speeds instead of slamming on the brakes. Slows down pretty quick that way bc of the short gearing
Just hit 40K miles on my 2014 yesterday
Things I've done:
On 3rd set of tires (1 stock set, tried DWS's, prefer the pilot as3+ I have now for DD!)
just recently changed the brake pads (went with DS2500 and kept the stock rotors as they measured fine)
oil changed every 3500ish
30k service
Been tuned for a year/20K miles on 93oct if anyone is wondering. (AMS test pipe, ebcs, ETS Quiet catback, ETS intake, ETS UICP)
This car has been the most fun, most smiles per gallon for any car I've ever owned!

Mine is daily driven, and currently approaching 250,000km. It has a few rattles and my wife has left some evidence of incompetent, methamphetamine addled driving on the exterior, but I've never broken anything major. Still on the original clutches too, despite 520NM and 340KW.
probably the most major replacement has been rotors, but because 99% of my driving is highway it's only on its second pair of pads, ever. I'm hearing everyone about the tyres! I was getting bored with putting new tyres on every month so I thought i'd experiment... found that by skimping on tyres and putting a set of 500 treadwear Tracmax's on you can light up all four in the dry at 50kmh... however the braking was equally hairy. I'm now running 245 Nitto Invo's, which are spectacular. However I'd probably be on my tenth set of tyres, at no less than 1500 a set. Ugh.

but everything is still running strong
