Won what? Did you miss the previous page, or did I misunderstand you?

...And my car is at 128,000mi with the original engine & turbo, 2nd clutch, 2nd set of brakes, and recently got it's 2nd brake master cylinder.

Not from me, you didn't!

I had a Competition Clutch, Stage 1, in my 240SX. It was by far the worst part ever to go on that car. (And the previous owners had installed some cheapo ricer ****.)

Maybe a Competition Clutch is OK for a trailer queen that only does competition.

They said it would grab better with heat, which turns out to be a terrible idea for a daily driver.
I would pull away from a stop sign or a red light and going into 1st gear would be like shifting with any other clutch, shifting from 1st to 2nd would be normal, then by 3rd gear it warmed up and... BAM! It would grab abruptly and jerk the whole car.

Also, it lasted less than 15,000 mi in my 240sx with 148hp at the wheels.
You know how a clutch has those little coil springs going around it?
A coil spring popped out and got wedged into the fingers, so I couldn't shift.

I had it replaced with an OEM replacement clutch and it shifts like a normal car every shift, and didn't have any trouble holding the power on track day last weekend.

In my home town in NC, where exactly one mechanic has changed an Evo X clutch (and doesn't want to do it again) it was about $1300. It could have been $1600, but a lot of parts and labor had the "friends with the mechanic since high school" discount.

Now that I've moved to Chesapeake, VA, someone told me $1300 was complete bull****, and the mechanic did it wrong, and I didn't shop around enough, because All Aspects Motorsports does it for around $800.

(I'm taking his opinion with a grain of salt because this was also a guy who wanted to argue with me about autocross Street Touring rules when he's never been to an autocross, much less read a damn rule book.)

...But I've had all kinds of things besides the clutch done by All Aspects. They do good work for fair prices, including lots of Evo clutches. If anyone can do it for less than $1300, it's them.

OK, that's enough internet. I have to go to work now.

What's that in kilometres? I'm going past 250000, original clutches still drama free! I haven't been as obsessive with the fluid changes as I probably should have, but it still gets changed twice as often as Mitsu suggest.
Oh a few people have asked about replacement parts: I'm into my second set of rotors and I also had to replace the stock wheels at around 150000 k because they just weren't up to the shonky Australian roads. All the engine pulleys were changed on recall, and I'm on my second windscreen, and I put new interior mats in to go with the last tune. All the suspension bushings were changed, but it hasn't stopped the rattling. I still had the original air filter until recently, it now has a K&N drop in, so I can confirm their claims of a 20+whp gain are fanciful to say the least. I've been through a grand total of two sets of brake pads(!!) And at least fifteen sets of tyres. I had the brembos re painted out of necessity, because they were tatty enough make the whole car look like sh*t. In fact the original paint might as well have been watercolor- it might have been more durable. Of course I put a turbo back exhaust on it but that doesn't count. I could have kept the stock one forever, but it sounded like a cheap hoover and those stupid chrome sleeves only drew attention to the fact that you couldn't fit your head up it (the benchmark for a truly manly exhaust)

Well since this thread is up... My 2008 GSR has 231,000 kms which is around 145,000 miles.

Which is a lot considering my 1990 DSM has 110,000 miles and my 1993 has 58,000 LOL

Hard to properly answer due to all the mods (stuff getting replaced along the way for performance upgrades, not because they're broken) but for general service... Oil change every 3k miles, all fluids (brake/clutch, coolant, transmission, t-case, rear end x2 etc) have been changed on time. The only one I haven't touched yet is the p/s fluid. It's been through a few clutches, second flywheel... Did the diff pins as preventative maintenance and it needed a new 3-4 shift fork/roll pin, otherwise the gearbox is stock and original. Turbo I changed out 6k miles ago, but just to upgrade... the stocker was fine still & was sold for further enjoyment for a Ralliart upgrade. Suspension is all stock & original for the most part but you can tell it's getting tired. Stock ball joints, control arm bushings, etc Just did the outer tie rod ends last year, and replaced the front struts with lower mileage ones & top hats with brand new OEM ones. Sway bar links & bushings are original. Brakes have been done multiple times of course.

It's been mostly a highway car, I do commute with it and so did the previous owner.

Did your s-awc pump die along the way?

Yeah, that died just outside of the extended warranty. It's been dead since.
