...That requires keeping it out of salt for the 5-6 months of the year.
Salt 5-6 months a year? Mostly, you just made me glad I don't live in Canada.
I'll keep my 2008 immaculate by not going there.

202k miles (202,000) "all original" on my 2008 MR. No faults. Who says mitsu's aren't reliable?

I just rolled over 161k miles the chassis/trans/t-case other day, with the engine having over 200k. Evo 8 rear diff with about 135k. High mileage gang.

The crazy thing is I stopped commuting with the car 4 years or so ago. If I kept it at the rate I was going I would've been sitting around 300k miles right now.

Have you modified anything on it?

Am I correct in guessing you left the boost alone?

202,000 miles takes the cake, so far.
Is there nobody with any more miles than that?

Maybe I should also ask: We're all talking about original engines, right?

Daily driven to the ground

Currently at 262,126 miles on the original engine on my 2010 GSR, original clutch went around 245/250k and timing chain at 255k.

At 158,707 miles I've recently replaced a window scissor mechanism (and the new one is loud), I think my 2nd AYC pump is failing, and now the fuel door won't open.

EDIT: I fixed the fuel door on my own. I found a thing on the ground next to my car one day, and kept it in the console cup holder. It turned out to be the fuel door spring.
So, the fuel door spring probably fell out around 158,500 miles.
