Still working in the heat!



Well summer is almost here and it is starting to get a little warmer! It was 48C / 119F earlier in the day but i didnt have my phone on me.

No problems so far .... lets see what happens when we get to 55C / 131F!

i bet that interior was mighty hot. So i take it you wont be doing an a/c delete?

It was so hot when i got in the car that the Defi controler that was stuck on with 3M tape had come off ..... the tape melted!

how is she in the heat? ive always wonder about that, being that the engine gets really hot.

from what a few mechanics have told me mitsu engines are known for taking huge amounts of heat like nothing. one mechanic had an old boosted eclipse and said the engine got so hot once it melted the hood. so hopefully an X's engine is even stronger.

I've driven to Mexico in really bad heat. She drives pretty smooth when it's hot.
