I hear that if you get a tune for more power, you should probably run thicker oil to provide more protection to your engine. I hear mobil 1 extended performance is really close to amsoil.

Think about this, the oil you have SSO 0W30, AMSOIL rates that oil at 35,000 YES YOU ARE READING CORRECT 35K
Do you think any company in its right mind would garuantee an oil to 35K if they did not think it would do what we say, i dont think so, that company is going to make dam sure the oil survives to the abuse Turbo car put on it.


You can also check out the EvoX section there has been many of those guys running the oil you are.


Just a tip for piece of mind, if you want around 5K into the oil go ahead and get a sample of the oil and send it to an oil analysis Lab they will be able to tell you if the oil is doing its job and if it has more miles to go.
