95 GS-T Got it when I was 16 as my first car. Riced it out with a body kit an orange paint job and 19"s. Cause of death: Crankwalk
98 GSX Got this one when I was 17, it was super mint and low mileage red on black/tan leather, bought it for 3k from old retired dude sold it for 9000 dollars but only after 1 clutch and 1 transmission later (first awd car lol).
03 EVO VIII Got it @ 19 yrs old already a built 2.4 stroker with an FPGreen for 20k. 3, yes that is correct, 3 transfer cases and 1 clutch later (hardddd launching with 500+wtq) I traded it in for the X.
08 EVO X Got it right before my 20'th bday and put 2 clutches, 23k miles on it and blew the motor up, haven't even had it 9 months yet... ****
Aside from clutches and good ol' crankwalk, mitsubishi's have been good to me. (and yes I can drive! F off lol)

Yeah I heard crank walk was pretty bad in the Eclipses, didn't they solve some of those issues when the 2g Eclipse came out? I'm really surprised to see none of us have owned a Mirage yet (which the Lancer replaced)... Good little cars everyone looked over!

I had a total of 3 Mitsu already.
1st. 1995 3000GT VR-4. It was my first car at 18. I had it for about a year. It was heavily modified when i bought it (which is didn't know at the time). Transmission issues occurred and it was a money pit so i sold it.
2nd. 1997 Eclipse GSX. I bought it off a friend with 64k original miles for $2800. Down fault: it was an Auto and it was beat to ****.... and didn't run. I got it to run, sold the extra goodies off of it, drove it around for a couple of months and sold it for profit.
3rd. Evo X. She's been good to me.
In between the Eclipse and the Evo X, i had an 04 STi (pretty fast and fun car) and a Mazda 3 (non-speed) as a daily. All in all, i only got the Evo now and a large payment from negative equity off my STi

I've never been in a VR-4 before, I heard they were pretty fast considering the years they were made... Was it anything like your X? It was pretty advanced I do know that.
P.S. Shame on Mitsubishi for putting auto's in the GSX (j/k). To each their own I suppose.

88 Daytona Shelby (almost a mitsu) Very fast for it's time
92 1G N/A base model, didn't even have AC
91 1G GST Bushur Stage 3 block and head (sold it after I bought the 08 Evo)
08 Evo GSR
After 20 years of driving, I finally got on the AWD train. Now there's no going back

Lol negative. With the debut of the 2g is when the issue of crankwalk had to be addressed, because it was so rampant.

I currently own an 04 Eclipse GT (silver) and just bought my new EVO X last month.
Both cars were purchased brand new...the Eclipse has over 100,000 miles now and I've had absolutely ZERO problems with it. Then again, I maintain my vehicles well but I'm happy with the brand in general.
