Hey i have a problem with my car. When im driving it weahter my foot is on the acceleration or not its making this clicking sound coming from the back of the car.

What can it be? Do you think this is a major problem?

Im going to take it into mitsubishi tomorrow to see what they say but thought id get some info on here first.

Not a 100% sure what it can be.....How much will it cost to get these wheel bearing fixed?

When i drove the car the sound seemed like it was coming from the back its just a constant sound and goes click click clikc click if your accelerating or your foots off the acceleration but that car has to be in motion. I tried turning and just going straight and the same sound it being made no matter what.

Hopefully I can get an appointment for my car for tomorrow and they can find out what this problem might be. Hopefully it is not major since i bought the car in america but live in canada.

I have been hearing the same sound and it seems as if it emanating from the exhaust. For me it primarily comes about after WOT and then relaxing the throttle.

maybe a pebble in the tire tread. or a nail in the tire. i had a clicking sound before and when i changed my brake pads it went away. never found what it was.

Thats strange. Not sure if mine is from the exaust tho as i had my car in park and reved it to see if it would make that noise but it dident.

But you never know...im gonna setup an appointment tomorrow hopefully i can get my car in and see what they say and will update everyone here.

btw do you think it will be bad if i drive my car with the clicking sound or should i just not drive it and only drive it to the mitsubishi dealer?

I checked the tired and dident find anything but will see if the tires still have air in them tomorrow morning.

There was a recall on the braking of mitubishi lancers but i never got mine done do you think I should do that?

My car has about 16,000-17,000 miles on it.
