Almost traded the X today.

As the title states, I almost traded in my RR Evo X for a new Tundra. Long story short; just need the space for the family. After a couple hours in the dealership I just couldn't do it. The trade in allowance they were giving me was bull**** plus I looked outside and saw my baby in the parking lot and I just couldn't do it. I asked for my keys back and told them maybe next time. I'm sure I will probably get a truck in some months but not now, not ready to let the X go. (unless the price is right )

Sucks. New tundras are sick though. Good luck. Don't do it until it feels right.

Funny...just traded mine today toward an '06 Porsche Cayenne Titanium Edition.

Needed a tow vehicle for the IX race car, and the Porsche tows 7K plus is a fun SUV to drive.

Will I miss the X, well sort of, I guess. The X was fine, but it was not as precise or fun as the IX that I had (just recently sold).

I almost traded my X in for a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 a couple days ago but I would have been upside down too much...maybe next year

How long you had it? Tough for me to fathom trading it in but mine is 3 weeks old with 1k miles.

Got it in March. I would've said the same thing being 3 weeks into it. They were only offering 25k on trade= F that ****.

Realistically, a $25K trade is not that bad for a car that can be had brand new for $28K or even less given you were getting the Tundra for the best possible price....You are saving ~ $1500 in sales tax as well depending on your local rate....

Still, if you can the keep X and have your family stay happy, that's the best way to go

truck

find yourself a old beater truck if you want a truck, and for needing room for the family it is a four sedan
