I have this issue when I am in 5th gear low rpm's and the ac on. The car bucked shutoff and the check engine light came on!!!! This all happened while I was on the highway driving so had to just coast to service road....this could be dangerous and have no idea what it is. This does not happen in any other gear and doesnt happen with ac off. I had 50 miles left in the tank and the other time it was pretty empty maybe thats what it was? Thanks...

 

maybe it's your intake, you should get a shield on it

 

If I had a nickle for everytime I saw "check engine light" that was NOT followed by "So, I pulled out my handy dandy code reader, and saw the code XXXX", I'd be a rich man.

 

I didn't have time to read the code it cleared up. I have a cone filter only for the intake and no shield....don't know if that was it. I was getting a erp error code on the aem tru boost...
