Thinking of buying an EVO need help!!
okay guys i need advice in getting an EVO X i currently drive a lancer gts i love the car but i feel like there is nothing i can do to really make it a really fast car so my question is what are the pros and cons about the EVO X im thinking of getting the GSR but i think i can afford the MR so in the long run what would be better GSR or MR so Evo owners that have either one of the cars your input would be appreciated im going to buy it in a month or so because just got a new job and make enough to get it now so gotta wait till i get a few paychecks so common guys lets here it Evo GSR or Evo MR.!!
it doesnt really matter i mean i can drive both but what im asking is what would be a better car in the long run the MR or GSR pros and cons about the both of them which one would be able to hold the most power
You need to decide if you want an auto or a manual. This being the main difference in my mind would be the decision making factor. I choose the GSR for this fact alone, came from a R32 and the DSG drove me nuts. One thing to think about is the reliability and cost associated with the SST, not saying it's crap just that it's a 10K box that once your car is modded is all on you to repair or replace. Clutch is much cheaper and alot more fun!

yes i plan on modding the car alot so i think im going to go with the gsr and my gts is an auto and the parts arent as good as the m/t so i took that in consideration so im going to go with the GSR fully loaded package
thanks alot man still debating wether i should trade in the lancer gts or keep it but i dont want to be upside down on it but hopefully getting it mid sept. now gotta choose the right color thinking going graphite grey or blue but not sure yet
Get the MR if it's going to be more of a daily driver and/or used on long drives otherwise get the GSR, see it's very simple.
BTW, pet peeve calling the dual clutch tranny an automatic, its not. Manual with an automatic mode. A manumatic if you will.
