If you ever take your intake manifold out, pull the pipe out, drill and tap a 1/8 npt 3/16 barb in its place.

My 11 GSR doesn't have anything there. I guess I'll ziptie it tomorrow when I put on some new goodies!

Funny my mechanic was looking over my car this week and told me to clamp this hose!

I'm not at my car to compare, but looks like a ground. Can you give another shot?

Just saw this thread, have weird idle, checked to see and it almost looks like mine has completely come off and not in sight anywhere.. There is the small hose but it looks bare and looks like there was something else there over top of it
If this is the case, what is the specific part so I can get it replaced.
Thanks

I'm completely stock. I got absolute full coverage at the dealer. I bought it used so its from a jeep dodge Chrysler dealer and I feel like they aren't 100% qualified to work in EVOs.idk just sucks when I expect the turbo to make me fly and it feels something is skipping and the rpms go down I feel like a bull without ***** like a shark without teeth u know other examples like that

Better late than never to stumble across this thread! Ran out to the garage and sure enough, the line was dangling. My idle was always pretty lopey (so much so that someone asked if I was cammed at my last auto x) and I always though it was abnormal. Also was certain I had a boost leak somewhere; this fixed both of one issues with a small metal hose clamp!
