use a better clamp then a zip tie, I'm not a big fan of glue or other chemicals near the engine that don't belong - though the hairspray idea sounds ok... Is that "Super-Hold" or something that still allows a little bounce when I walk?

This issue just happened to me, I had stumbling around +3000 RPM and a loopy idle and sure enough, that line had popped off. Fastened it back down and problem solved. Thanks again for the info.

Picked up an 08 MR today and I noticed it felt a bit sluggish and the idle was off. I had read this thread a couple days ago and I was able to remedy this asap.

Thanks

haha wish i saw this thread earlier. When i installed my bolt ons and cobb ap, i took her for a spin and once i pulled into my driveway my tachometer was rocking back and forth during idle. sure enough it was that same exact hose that blew off, im guessing to the higher boost pressure i was now running because of the cobb ap. 2 zip ties will do the trick lol. no problems since

Gonna buy some clamps soon and clamp that hose down. Thanks for the heads up.

Just ran outside to check... mine was fastened tightly. I placed a zip tie on each end just in case. Thanks for posting this!
