If it comes off, you wont have to look under the hood to know that something is wrong. The car will drive like crap.

This should be a sticky, just happened on my 5 day old 08. I was freaking out thinking I'd have to get it serviced already. Luckily I found this thread and it seems no harm has been done. Thanks guys!

i just bought my 2010 gsr and after looking at this thread i went outside to check. mine is on very solid, i gave it a slight tug and it's on there very tight, so much so that i'm foregoing putting ties on it. maybe mitsu saw the issue and fixed it? if you notice it seems like people with 08s are having the problem mostly.

next time i'm getting the maintenence done i'll ask them if they could put a clamp on it though.

Yes it applies... pretty much to any 4B11T out there. The original picture posted on page 1 is my engine bay, a 2009 Ralliart.

Yall get that little hose clamped with something asap, as it took me a while to find out what the hell had my car going through such a jumpy idle and it was driving like pure crap!

You really end up feeling like an ******* sitting next to someone at a red light and your car is stumbling all over itself... especially when your exhaust is loud as hell and makes sure everyone in the immediate area can here your car almost dieing LOL.

I used loctite on the tube then slipped the hose on and put a zip tie on it. I have yet to have it come off again and is holding very strong.

Nevertheless, they are obviously known to be coming off, it takes 5 seconds to put a ziptie on it....

Yes they seem tight but will come off eventually, mine was the same way then it came off. That's why I used loctite and a zip tie on it. If I was you I would put a zip tie on it now before it blows off then it will be too late
