GSR!!!

one of my biggest regrets was owning an R32 DSG = no fun!

my wife called them "make believe manual shifting" and i thought that was funny.

i love driving and i feel there's more driver involvement when driving a manual.

GSR for me. Liked the idea of the TC-SST, but not the premium dealers were charging for it.

GSR

I just prefer full control over the car, no matter how smart the computer is.

Why did you buy a X then? That AYC and AWC don't give you full control

MR here, Love it. GSR is good too but I got other daily driving manual 5spd car. TC is really better than expected. Impressed to see 3:1 ratio tho, thought there were way more GSRs.

I was gonna get the MR until i found out about the power restrictions. According to the "professionals" in the EVO community 350whp is about the max. But honestly, i'm really glad i got the GSR! I don't know what i would do if i had an automatic!

Actually it's the torque that is the limiting factor... 350wtq... AMS has pushed into the 400's with horsepower. Plenty for me.

I test drove the Evo X GSR, MR and IX MR, before choosing the X MR. Coming from a SW20 (had it for almost 10 years), I didn't like how the GSR's gear shift is positioned -- I guess I'm used to holding a gear shift like a sidewinder joystick.

And to the GSR owners who like to diss the SST, all I can say is, wanna race?

hmmm, well Eric @ AMS was actually the one who told me it was 350whp, but then again, that was in May. A lot of things can happen in 5 months

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/au...sst-loves.html

I swore I read in that thread they had to lower the torque to keep the SST under control. Must have been another thread, but notice the over 350whp and the below 300wtq. I can't remember where I read this
