Question Do I need anything else?

Hi guys, I've ordered a bunch of things for my Evo, basically I'll be using AMS's FP Red turbocharger as a first step, but I just wanted to find out if I've missed any parts that I'll need for the conversion?. Here's a list below of all the things that should be here soon. Bare in mind step 2 which is the HKS GT3240 is ready for the next upgrade. Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: wait..... HKS Turbo Kit + FP Red. I smell trolling bull****.

No guys, I'm not bull****ting, I've got both turbos, it was a mistake at first but I ended up keeping both. If you want I'll take pics when I have all the parts but I'm just asking for genuine help, I mean if I am forgetting anything essential that you think I'll need then please let me now, thanks.

P.S. I wouldn't post crap up for no reason, and I know my post count is low but that's because I'm usually on other forums, I'm new to this forum

Why bother going through all the trouble of mounting and tuning one turbo, when you've already purchased and have its replacement ready to go? Seems like a lot of wasted effort and money for no other reason than to waste effort and money.

And unless I just didn't see it in your list, the answer to "What am I missing" is A new clutch.

Ok the main reason how this happened is because I originally ordered the HKS turbo, but my friend who has another Evo X wanted it, so instead of ordering the same Turbo I decided to try out the AMS turbo for now, and if I want more power in the future then I'd upgrade to the HKS one.

Just try and ignore the HKS turbo in the list and look at the other things, is there anything obvious that I have forgotten?

well with all of that you just as well run some coss valve springs and a good meth kit
and you show you ordred an areomotive fpr and an hks fpr
and mabie a fuel pump unless it comes with the fuel delivery kit
and what about head studs if your going to be putting a head gasket in

Since you're evidently ensuring AMS survives the recession, I'd just go ahead and buy their stage 2 motor too.

Voila.

Go big or go home. Or something.

By Coss valve springs you mean the cosworth valve springs? If so why would you advice them? and would it be ok to just fit the Cams without the upgraded valve springs?

I think the fpr is already included in the fueling kit, I'll double check, and if you see duplicates of any parts it's because they're for my friend.

What are the head studs? and do I really need to change them to get a new head gasket in there?

I was looking into that option, but figured I'd have more fun building it up and enjoying the car with all the different parts I fit.

On a side note sorry if I'm not very knowledgeable in upgrading turbos especially for the X then bare with me. I just need a few helpful hints to get things moving, thanks.

^ good question, it's still a bit of a mystery as to how we'll actually go about fitting all of this, we're thinking of installing all the "easy" stuff our selves and probably leave the more difficult stuff to some technicians we know around here (tried and tested with other cars). The only problem we'll face at the end of the day is remapping the ECU, we have someone in mind but we're still looking into other options.

So I can't really give a date, we're also waiting on a few more things to arrive before to start.
