I'm actually surprised that people still want to attain the fast and furious sound as it's viewed by many in the same light as a fart can muffler on a Honda, pretty lame these days.
Haha, whatever. I've owned many tastefully modded turbo cars, I'm 30 and definitely not a ricer. Installed the open BOV for my first mod just for the heck of it cause it doesnt really do anything but I think it's pretty cool. My last car was a GTO so I guess I missed the sound.

Every import forum has the "You should never put a BOV on your car or else you're a RICER!" crowd. Every one. Funny.

Anyway, running a Sard 100% VTA and have had no problems or CELs. Took 30 sec to install. Only mod.

Yep and there's a reason for that which you obviously lost on you. It's your car, do what you want, nobody cares as you have made your choice and obviously don't need advise, but when a poster asks for advise of course some are going to try and steer him in the right direction.

I had a turbosmart hybrid on my car for a few months, but for some reason I started to get cel's. The worst part was when the car went into limp mode a couple of times...talk about scary. I freaked out after the first time; driving along and all of a sudden nothing and all kinds of things popping up on the info screen. I switched back to stock and have had zero issues.

The simple answers to your questions is the design.
If you recirc, you'll be less likely to have issues and CELs. If you full VTA, its more likely. 75% recirc and 25% VTA, probably a little better than full VTA, but still some issues.

Use this thread as a sounding board of people who are having luck with VTAs, then search that valve on the X sections here. I'd say finding one with 100% good results with a delta of at least 3-4 users is a must. I would not take a chance with hit or miss ones. Good luck.
