Thinking about making ramps
So since a set of race ramps is a bit pricey for me, i decided to make a set of my own.
The plan is to use a 2x10 and lay it flat. then stack one on top, but cut it slightly shorter. So on and so forth until i get my desired height.
So my questions, do you guys this this would work? i have all the angles down and lengths. Im just not not sure if these will hold or not.
im 99% sure they will, i guess i just need some other opinions on that other 1%
Update: Got one ramp built. Used a 2x10. ( really 1 1/2 x 10) Gives me 7 1/2" of lift. i think that will be more then enough

I can't imagine why boards on top of one another wouldn't hold. I assume you'll screw them together using recessed screws or something? It'll definitely be heavy if you go 60" long on the longest board.
I bought a set of race ramps but the price still makes me grimace.
