2010 Price Increase

being serious though... why do we complain about a 50k Evo? It's not 50k... it's 38k... If you start adding accessories, price will skyrocket; that's how Car Manufacturers make money... a 50k Evo MR is the same as a 38k Evo MR... you're just paying Dealer price for a bunch of useless accessories. The other day I was quoting two cars that I'd like to get, a 2010 Mercedes Benz E Class and a Porsche Cayman 4S... it was all fine, the Benz being 48k and the Cayman around 50k... until I started adding SOME of the accessories I'd like to have (some of which ALREADY come standard on an 2010 Evo MR) well the Benz skyrocketed to around 78k and the Cayman was close to 80k as well.... I just had to laugh;
10, 20, 30k of accessories and extra crap cannot be justified, regardless of the brand name
Mitsu can price these cars anyway they want (factoring in projected supply/demand)... the evo is not your average sedan. Only reason why we saw great deals/incentives/zero-APR with the 08s was because they manufactured/imported too many here in the US and the economic nightmare that followed 6+ months later.
