2010 Price Increase

Was there a price hike for 2010 models? I did a quick search but I didn't come up with anything.. I don't remember them being as high as they are on the site now

http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/j...imsAndPacksTab

tack on another ~700 for the destination that they don't include in the msrp

I may be mistaken on this, I think I got confused because they never sell for MSRP.. I was just shoppin around =]

Feels good that Mitsubishi can raise the price and people would still buy, but it would make calling the Evolution a reasonably price Bmw & Porsche contender null and void if it reaches the 60k mark.

If anyone ever paid 50k for an Evo, they deserve to die, in a horrible fire.

Mitsu can price these cars anyway they want (factoring in projected supply/demand)... the evo is not your average sedan. Only reason why we saw great deals/incentives/zero-APR with the 08s was because they manufactured/imported too many here in the US and the economic nightmare that followed 6+ months later.

I remind myself that evos no longer grow on trees and if I sell mine it will be hard to get another one later.

You do realize supply and demand will shift dramatically with a pricing change, right? If they magically priced them at 50k for a GSR, that demand curve will fall like a brick.

What design flaw on the fuel system?

Alot of parts r made from different suppliers, we should blame them for the design flaw...
Look at the MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER BOOSTER RECALL, the master cyllinder is manufacturer by FTE ( made in germany-also supply brake parts to BMW, MB, VW, AUDI, etc..) You cant blame mitsubishi for this recall... b

There was a slight price increase ($32,990 to $33,590 on the GSR for example) but nothing ridiculous. What in the world are you guys adding to come up with $50,000?? I mean, a MR Touring w/destination and nav is $43,709.
