Well after 3 years I'm Back!
I have regretted selling my 2006 Apex Silver EVO IX for the past 3 years when I sold it in 07. I went through a few cars during that time span trying to make myself happy again:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2008 Mazda Speed 3
2003 Mustang Mach 1
2003 Mini Cooper S
2003 Mustang Cobra
Out of all those cars the mini was the most fun and the Cobra had a good amount of power (508rwhp and 532rwtq straight 93 pump). I was never a big 1/4 guy, but more of a handling guy. I had the mini on a few track days
I took the plunge yesterday and went to Bell Mitsubishi in Rahway NJ. Got the deal I wanted and left with a 2010 Wicked White EVO X SSS with 3 miles on the odometer.
This is going to be my DD. I regret selling my IX but I also regret not driving the car in two years I sold it with 6,000 miles.
I plan to do 20% window tint, swift springs and wheels. Then I am just going to enjoy the car for what it is.
BTW: If anyone is looking for an honest dealership in NJ Bell Mitsubishi did me right. I have bought a lot of cars, EVO X being 15! Honest group of guys and lay everything on the table, no games no BS. I went to Buhler Mitsubishi in Eatontown NJ where I know the owner figuring I would get a good deal. I was told that the EVO X is too hot of a car and they are getting $4k over sticker. I laughed and walked out. Next I went to Allstar Mistbishi and was told the same BS story. They told me that they would sell me the car for Sticker price of $36,780. I said no and walked out. Bell gave me the deal I wanted and threw in a set of Mudguards at no cost to me and the first 2 oil changes free. They also have the largest EVO inventory with about 9 EVO X (well make that 8 now). I in no way work for them nor am I affiliated with them, just letting the NJ guys know my experience and maybe save them some time and BS.

Not sure if I want to have Ivey tune my X. I want to have ZERO problems with my warranty, tune will obviously affect that. Yes I can flash it back to stock and I know of a way to flash the PCM and put a stock code in we will see.
Why do you say make sure to get a tune, for more power or bc there is a problem with the stock tune.

Congrats on your new ride and welcome back to the Evo family. Can't say I agree with you about Bell though, they were complete douchebags to me from the sales guy to the sales manager.
