Wiring question

I'm looking for a switched power wire to splice into under the dash that provides power when the key is in the 'On', 'Run', or 'Start' position. Right now I'm spliced into the cigarette lighter, but it doesn't provide power when the key is turned to start the engine, which I need.

Anyone know for sure?

Bump

Anyone? I need to tap my boost gauge into somewhere that will get power in Acc, Run and Start when the engine is cranking.

Does anyone have a wiring schematic?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
A cheap volt tester is always handy too.

I used my cig lighter or the LED ashtray lights in my 8 when I needed ACC power.

Yeah I had it spliced into the cigarette lighter. There's power for Acc and On position of the key, but not when you turn it to crank the engine.

I have the new AEM analog boost gauge and when it first turns on, it takes a reading of atmospheric pressure so the needle can set itself at 0. Well, it'll turn on when I turn the key, and then off when I crank the engine and back on when the key rests in the On position. When it does turn back on, the needle zeros itself while the engine is at idle. So when it reads 0 on the gauge, it's actually ~18in/Hg vacuum at idle.

I need somewhere to splice into that will give power while the engine is cranking, so it can take a reading, zero the needle and stay on while starting the engine.

the three switch looking thing to the left of the steering wheel. it should be a green/white wire. thats where i hook up for power.
