always have and always will pronounce eh-vo because we pronounce its eh-volution so it just sounds right to me i dont know why everyone is so hard up that its ee-vo. and its funny i get crap about it when i have known and have been building evos since 1999 before the 8 made it stateside in 2003 hahaha

 

Ee-vo and have never heard anyone pronounce it any other way.

I've heard the engineers who built the car pronounce it Ehvo on best motoring the same sound as at the beginning of "evolution" the way they say it here: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/evolution . You don't get a whole lot more authoritative than that.

but regardless, you can't fight the tide. I gave up. it's eevo.

 

I was watching Initial D in cantonese dub one time and it kept calling it a Lan Eh-Vo. Lol I couldn't stop laughing.
