I notice "02 of 02". I surmise that "01 of 02" was a speeding infraction.

I could speculate that the cop felt you didn't pull over soon enough, and that the wing kept you from seeing his lights. (Although I've had cops tailgate so close I could only see the blue lights in the grill.)

On the other hand, some cops appreciate your finding a nice safe place to pull over, so he doesn't have to stand in traffic.

 

 

When I told him the wing was stock he said it is against NYS law and that Mitsu needs to take it up with the NYS.

i know there's a way to fight this...
either go to mitsubishi and tell them about this, they should pay it... and if n e thing, go to the courts, show them that it's STOCK, that it's not like you had a choice in the matter...
