for the price of one ARC IC, you can get two AMS ICs, AND it performs better. you get the cake AND eat it too.

I agree with fishstix in the fact that you should get what you want. That being said, if I was going to do it, it would go like this- AMS IC w/o stencil and LICP, and ARC UICP.

ARC parts are nice to look at, but I don't ride around with my hood open. I have both an AMS front mount and AMS intercooler piping and couldn't be happier. They are good looking parts too...and more importantly perform well.

AMS for power. ARC if you want purply-bluish-gold pipes.

Thanks guys.

I really like the way ARC products shine ( i guess I'm a sucker for that ), but after giving it some thought, it only makes sense. Why spend WAY more money on 3 things when i can order everything AMS on my sig for 1700 dollars! and still have money left over for a tune ...

Anyways, anyone know if AMS is open on the weekend?, Andrew at AMS said they were having a sale this weekend but when i called today they seemed to be closed..

From a performance perspective, ARC IC does not give you a better bang for the buck when comparing to others, the money are also spent on the quality, material, design and of course the name. But they do work as a very efficient cooler with no pressure drop.

ARC takes their R&D at a different approach, while others offer thicker intercoolers in various sizes, they stick with stock size with a wider opening and design with efficiency in mind. Their IC even reduces coolant temperature by 3 degrees...lol...who else does that?!

I like my ETS. I got it without the stenciling and it looks stock. Yeah, it's 4.0 inches, and I probably don't need something that big, but it was on sale and I'm happy with the final product.

The AMS looks good, but I didn't see enough to make it much different from the ETS from what I saw.
