Regarding FQ400, as you see the base GSR is 32k, basically means if it was ever to be sold in the states, it would be around 50k usd. It may not be as good value as the stock one, but it is still a very good performance per dollar in that market range. If you were to not remove any features from the car, then upgrade brakes, suspension and power, it may as well cost you that much.

One can spend 15-20k just on power mods and gut out their car, another one can buy full on race brakes, suspension, some power mods and tires for 15-20k and DIY install and maintain, but as migs647 mentioned its about balance and stock car-like ownership.

+1 most people in that price bracket aren't thinking 'Man I can't wait to get a hold of this car to mod it'...

They want something out of the box that is a beast, and the FQ400 is that...

And it's been pointed out that having those mods AND a factory warranty is a huge selling point...

I'd like to know specifics on: Engine, clutch, tranmission. I bet all three are upgraded substantially.

Both is based on the Exedy clutch, but with some minor modification .

Sorry mate, it uses the standard clutch. We've got the FQ400 kit as an option over here in Dubai and I've been looking at the parts list.

They also use the standard IC, but upgrade the UICP to HKS stuff .... people often get that wrong as well.
