Can anyone take pics of their 2010 headlight/wiper stalks with auto wipers/lights and some pictures of the sensor behind the rear view mirror?

I am looking at what it takes to retro fit the 2008 X's and 2009 Ralliarts with this feature. From what I can tell looking through the part numbers, the stalks are the same. The roof wiring harness also has the same part number, meaning that the sensor plug should be under the headliner.

I am pretty confident that you can order the sensor and the trim cover, plug them in, and reprogram the etacs with the Mut-III tool. In the parameters it has an option to tell the etacs if the car is equipped with the sensor or not.

If this is the case, then for about $250 dollars in parts and a half hour hook-up to a Mut III tool, us 2008-2009 guys can update our cars to have these features.

 

Sounds like a cool project, I would like to see this done.

I was at the dealership the other day checking out a 2010 MR, it looks like that sensor is pretty attatched to the front windshield, like it is glued or something.

no, it starts to rain, wipers start on their own, never use the stalk! Sensor is on the front screen above the rear view.

 

yeah you're right. didnt know the 2010's had them.

 

we don't have DRL on base model even 2010 release. but GT (top of line before evo)has AFS. it adjusts headlight when the car is turning.
