Programming Fast Key problems

Ok so i bought a spare key/transmitter today and figure'd Id save myself the couple bucks and program it myself. So i broke out the manual and it says that i have to have 2 preprogrammed keys, and the new blank one. I only have one preprogrammed, and the new blank one. wtf do i do lol. Or am i just misreading something?

I don't believe you can program a new key yourself. From what I understand, a dealership has to do it.

you didn't receive two receivers/transmitters with your car? that seems odd... i was also under the impression that a dealer had to program a new fob as well.

IIRC it says in the KOS section of the service manual that you will need 2 already programmed keys to be able to manually register another key.

If you only have one key, you are out of luck.
