The smaller wing like this is what I'm talking about, as seen on non-SSS GSRs:

This is the extra-tall wing that I don't like, which the GSR w/ SSS and MRs have:

did you mean lancer gts wing or do you think the gsr really has a different wing?

and stock advans are great sticky tires for summer time.

Research done:

Things like that were what I was going on. But if they're different, they're different.

Thanks.

Beckley. I actually found this one in Raleigh while I was down there doing my CCNA training. I was headed home and decided to stop just to see what was around. Lucked up and found a couple. If you're looking, you may want to check this one out. It's only got a couple hundred more miles than the one I'm getting.

again the ralliart is the car for you..... The stockers have a pretty low treadwear 280 I think, they make for some pretty good grip , but just because a tire wears out in sub 10k mile range dosent make it a bad tire..... They are made for high grip not longevity. I'm glad to see you learned to use the message search option.

The tires are doomed to be a lot of people's only experience with Advans, and they're priced simply ridiculously for what they are. A shame, really; priced right, they'd be a great tire to actually, ya know, buy.

Don't waste your time with all season. If you can't afford a good set of winter tires you are better off waiting until the summer and don't settle for something cheap that the dealer will throw at you. THE EVO IS DEADLY IN THE WINTER WITH OUT A GOOD SET OF WINTER TIRES. You do not want to kill someone. I made that mistake already and slammed my car into a curb after the first snowstorm we had where we got 2 ft of snow. The advans are great summer tires though.

As for the SSS package you are better off with out it the dealer jacks up the price about an extra 2gs just for that package. I have seen the SSS wing being sold here for about 300, so you do the math.
