advice to deal with dealer
well, i have an appointment to go in this saturday for the airbag recall. i also mentioned the rattling/buzzing in the cabin at even low volumes on the radio . the door panels would buzz like crazy while i litsen to talk radio. the bassy male voices causes the passenger door to freak out and buzz like crazy.
the problem is, how can i recreate the issue? being talk radio, they're on a different schedule on the weekends and when i tried to download an mp3 of the show the encoding was such crap that all the bass was lost. so i can't recreate this buzzing that i hear EVERY morning. i can get it to buzz with loud music, but i think that won't be as convincing since they will just say turn it down.

Try downloading several differenet online talkradio/newscasts/podcasts in the highest bitrate MP3 you can find, and then burn them all onto a CD. Hopefully, at least one of them will recreate the buzzing sound you hear on FM. And then just remember which one it is, so you can demo it for the dealer, if your normal programming isn't being played at the time.
For example, here's the latest Engadget podcast at 80kbps (link). Quality isn't too bad, and at 42MB, you could fit another 15+ recordings on the CD to try out.
Also, you can google to find many of your local radio stations to download their podcasts. NY's WABC seems to have a ton at 128kbps (link).
Good luck!
