loud buzzing! who knows what it is?

Took the car out today for a little cruise messed around with a guy in a m5 and got to talk to him in traffic real cool guy, loved my car as i did his
Everything was working fine, and once i got home i turned the car off went inside for a drink, then came back out to leave agian and when i started my car i heard a very loud buzzing while im sitting inside the car. i get out and walk around the car, and the buzzing was from the rear of the car. i laid down under the bumper and couldnt really pinpoint what was buzzing from but that it was just loud and from the rear -this is all at idle to- i let it continue to run and the sound seemed to stop-almost stop buzzing. i turned the car off and turned it back on, it was loud as it was the first time, but went away quicker. this is the first time its ever happened to me also. If anyone has an idea of what it is lmk!!

-i know my post is kind of vague but thats all i really have to say its like a warning buzzer sound i took a video on my phone , if i can figure out how to upload to youtube ill try to post it to help

thanks, bryan

Pump housing is the removable panel on the left hand side under the rear seat.

i do have a walbro, pulled the seat up enough to get my ear closer and it was louder, not trying to sound stupid but does that mean its kicked or is it just another part that makes noise, cause i know my clutch is fine but it sure is loud

Likely just a case of the infamous Walbro whine.

You can datalog the car to know for sure if the pump is up to snuff or watch your wideband if it is leaning out could be the pump going out.

Sounds like the Walbro pump. I get small amount of noise when empty but nothing crazy.

Your not getting what I'm saying. Yes walbro's whine.. But When they start to get louder, usually signs of them going bad.

Happened to Me before.

Mine only makes noise if I've been getting on it a bit, it quietens down after a little while.

I haven't actually seen or read about any situations about the noise be related to the pump going bad, I'm not saying that it's not the case. I have seen a lot of cases with noisy walbros and no ill effects.
