Tell them you want a new wheel? Get it in writing? Buy a car that an idiot didn't obviously drive?

You just need to get them to commit to replacing the wheel or covering the cost (including installation) of a new wheel.

Dealers have all kinds of extra forms for adding other commitments into a deal.

It is very unlikely they will throw you some crazy number of free cash... if they did, they probably wouldn't be in business very long.

get it all in writing first! I was told something and shook on it, and they said they never agreed to it. So either let them drop the price or change out the rims for you! get some good deals man, dont let them walk over you. just cause you really want it, make this bad economy work in your favor.

If the wheel is curbed I would definitely get them to throw in a new wheel, and i would also try and get them to throw in an alignment(doesn't really cost them anything) - you don't know how hard they hit the curb, and some say the factory alignment is crap anyway, so this is an excuse to get a free alignment. I'd also make sure the tire sidewall isn't damaged.
As others have already said, get it in writing, and make sure they agree to install the new rim(mounting, etc) as well
Everything's negotiable.

Agreed get them to give you a new wheel, and tire if that is damaged. Have them throw in the alignment as well.

Demand they give you some money off, then use what you save to get yourself an aftermarket set of new wheels.
