Dp install

Ok, so I broke down and had a shop install my dp. After reading about the hard time people have been having putting these on, I figured 120 was worth it. Anyway, is there anything I should check on after the install to make sure everything is ok? I know from putting on my exahust, that you should tighten any bolts after driving for a bit. Anything else?

Which shop did you take it to? (I'm from Michigan near you as well) As far as checking on anything, just make sure everything is tight after a day or two of driving and you should be good to go.

If this is a combo a O2/ DP that is a heckuva good price. If it's just the DP, they robbed you.

- There is a link here somewhere (search) for the shop manual, locate the Turbo diagram and indentify all the bolts;
- Use a 14 mm socket / wrench, check all the bolts and nuts are tight on the turbo (if it's a O2/DP) ;
- Put your car in a area with bright light or use a work light and check the pipes are not touching anything, like heatshields etc;
- Check the bolts and nuts where the DP meets the Cat;
- Drive it a few days, then check for black soot leaking out at the O2 sensor bung and flange were the DP meets the cat.
- Let the car sit idling, then lie next to it and listen for leaks.
