How much power is too much?
what about the new bbk? its probably The most DD friendly turbo out there. FP and Blouch are good ones too but they do spool later than the stock turbo does. a well tuned stock turbo or BBk would be just awesome.
My advice would be a progressive mod path, unless you are super rich, which you are not, else you would not be buying an Evo X!
Example of Progressive Power Mod path:
Stage 1a:
Cat back exhaust
Drop-in Filter
Tune
Stage 1b:
02 Downpipe
Test pipe/High Flow Cat
Retune
Stage 2:
Meth/H20 Injection
Retune
Stage 2 (alternate)
E85 Conversion + supporting mods
Retune
Stage 3
Turbo upgrade + supporting mods
FMIC
Clutch upgrade
Retune
Stage 4
At this point your car is a monster and you have an uncurable disease that makes you want more and more power. Start yanking weight off the car.

I know that this is a dead thread but you forgot the dreadful stage 5.
Stage 5
Serious relationship, girl hates 700whp evo. Sell Evo, buy minivan. At this point your uncuttable disease turns fatal and you convince your now wife, "GTR is a family car"
