Day time Driving lights

Hi all, i have searched and searched but cant seem to find the answer to my problem. For some reason my driverside day time driving light keeps burning out. i have replace the bulb numerous times and they only last for an hour or two max. i have checked the fuses. Any ideas?
Thanks

Just basic stuff that you probably already know but you aren't letting the bulbs touch anything when installing are you? Including and especially your fingers? And, is it sealed off good when installed?

Where did you get the LED bulbs at? My day time driving lights are burning out constantly that now I just leave the dead bulbs in there. I even made sure to use surgical gloves when installing them.

Update: so i figured out what was happening in my case, the terminal were the bulb was making contact had a light layer of corrosion. cleaned it up and yup all my "bad" bulbs seemed to work again. i also adjusted the springs in each of the day time driving bulb sockets so that they put more pressure on the bulbs when installed.

You could also pull the fuse for the day time running lights (fuse 13 iirc) (HID cars only) and not have to worry about it at all.

For those without the HID package, there's a Plug & Play solution to eliminate the DRL's.

Sweet, thanks!

BTW, does this cause a bulb out warning? Do Evo X's have that?

If you mean which bulb, its the outer bulb (same as headlight) on non-SSS packacge (no HID) and the inner bulb if you do have SSS (or HID) package. DRL on HID equipped is a seperate bulb from DRL's.

Remove fuse #13 under the hood for the SSS DRL's disabling.
