fyi, keeping the evo bone stock is okay!(patting you in back
) it keeps the warranty, gets higher resale value and if you are satisfied with the performance, 3 years down the road, a bone stock evo down to the wheels and tires will look priceless.
that is not to say, modifying the evo is bad. if you want more power, more speed and more mojo's then it is also okay to modify the evo. check reputable tuners in this site's marketplace and make your decision. when modifying, don't go the cheap route, cheap parts, cheap tune, etc. as you get what you pay for. with mods, you will lose your warranty, parts, drivetrain can break early because with mods comes wear on normal parts. either way, the resale of the evo is strong that you can have both and enjoy it too.
but there are owners who have kept their evo stock. so, GL!

Mine's basically stock except for comfort mods and cosmetic... i only added the DIY Cone Filter mod to the engine till i can get my hands on an AEM CAI. Cobb Dual Adjustable Short Shifter, T1R Ti Shift knob count and APR Carbon Fiber Vortex Generator were added at around 6.5k lol.
My 2008 is stock with 13,000 miles. Only OEM changes... 2010 tails, cup holder, MR wheels, relays, which is still stock. I have some aftermarket mods to put on, just haven't had the time...

NOT ME !
